Hope Sandoval

Another great artist, as shy as my ex wife. That's not ironic, just a statement of fact. Hope Sandoval is from East LA, which is a tiny neighborhood about a mile long on the eastern side of the freeway from Los Angeles (city of). This is a nice series of mellow tender tracks Hope croons out in her particular way. I really respect her as an artist. She really hates crowds, but performs anyway. She has an amazing tenderness and sorrow, enduring life. She's a great break from frenzy. I really appreciate her tempo's being gentle and slow. YouTube is a good preview of this, but the sound quality is far better on the actual CD, worth owning for all the subtle nuance in her voice.
