VICE news is oddly good coverage despite the name. Sort of like CBS before they became an Enquirer clone. The war correspondent is multiligual and seems together. Finds people to interview, no obvious bias.

Its odd that little hobby journals are better in every way than the big govt propaganda machine agencies with all their lights and shouting and bias. How weird is this?
