A Moonlit Night

When the moon is full, the coyotes that live in the heavily wooded canyon down below come up in the neighborhoods and look for pets or garbage to eat. We also get Deer, Opossums, Quail, Racoons, Woodpeckers, Red Tailed Hawks, and a pair of Golden Eagles which nest in a tree across the street. They behave, mostly, but they get loud when their babies are hungry. Golden Eagles are Mankillers, btw, like bears. They aren't smart enough not to. Its very peaceful, even when the coyotes are padding up the middle of the street and howling to each other at 1 AM. Beats the heck out of gunshots.

Not bad for a Friday night.
